Board of Commissioners

Skagit PUD's board of three elected commissioners set policy for the District. The commissioners are elected by the community and serve six-year terms on a nonpartisan basis.

The commissioners hold open meetings every Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in our Aqua Room, where members of the public can observe and participate in decisions made by the PUD board of commissioners.

Commissioner Districts
The County is divided into three geographic districts on the basis of population. At the time of election, each commissioner must live in and represent his/her district.

District No. 1 encompasses Anacortes and Fidalgo Island, LaConner, Bay View, Bow, Edison and the Blanchard areas.

District No. 2 includes Mount Vernon, Conway, and the southern portion of the County to the Snohomish County line.

District No. 3 is the largest geographic district, and includes Burlington, Sedro Woolley, Concrete, Marblemount and all of the upriver communities.
