Every year, Skagit Public Utility District publishes a Water Quality Report covering the drinking water it delivers to over 27,000 metered connections across Skagit County. Federal law requires it, but the report is more than a compliance document — it's a detailed look at where your water comes from, how it's treated and tested, and how it holds up against federal and state standards.
The 2025 report is now available. This year's edition includes the full results of the PUD's water quality testing, health information for sensitive populations, and the annual Water Use Efficiency update — a snapshot of how the PUD is managing water responsibly for the long term.
Skagit PUD draws its water from the Cultus Mountain Watershed, the Skagit River, and six well systems serving communities throughout the county. Daily monitoring and testing ensure that what reaches your tap meets or exceeds all safety requirements.
