GM Candidate Reception

An open house reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday, June 13 in the PUD’s Aqua Room, where the public will have an opportunity to meet the five finalists for the general manager position.

The candidates are as follows:

• James Burke has served the city of Port Angeles, Wash., since 2009 where he started as Assistant Civil Engineer, then became Water Superintendent, and he is currently the Assistant Deputy Director of Public Works & Utilities.
  
  
• Robert Hyde is currently the Community & Economic Development Director for the city of Mount Vernon, Wash.
  
  
• Scott Sensanbaugher has been with the city of Rio Rancho, N.M., since 2001 and is currently Utilities Director/Acting Public Works Director.
  
  
• David Siburg has been a Senior Program Manager for CH2M, a global engineering company that provides services for corporations and governments, assisting the National Water Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the past year.
  
  
• George Sidhu has been the Interim General Manager for the Public Utility District No. 1 of Skagit County, Wash., since December 2015. He has been with Skagit PUD since 2011, serving as Engineering Manager. 

Formal panel interviews begin on Tuesday, June 14.
