As a community service, selected Skagit PUD facilities are available to the public when not used for PUD business.

Room Availability and Reservations

NOTICE: Beginning July 2025, all reservations will be hosted in the new Aqua Room. Please read the information below as amenities and expectations have changed.

Conference Room

Skagit PUD makes available its Aqua Room for public meetings. The Aqua Room is available for responsible community groups or non-profit organizations that will include Skagit PUD customers' participation. The PUD also makes the meeting room available for other governmental agencies. The room can comfortably seat 88 people.

The room shall be used for meetings only. Facilities are not available for gatherings such as parties, receptions, banquets, family reunions, fund-raising activities, or profit-making purposes, nor are they available for religious services.

The Aqua Room is available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. It is not available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays (exceptions apply, call to inquire). We only take reservations up to 90 days in advance and limit the number of meetings to three per 90 day period.

Changes to amenities and expectations:

  1. There is no projector screen available. The new room is equipped with large TV monitors and a control console that supports HDMI connections to project presentations and audio.
  2. No technical support will be available. Instructions are provided for using the audio/visual system, but no support will be available. A walkthrough of the system and testing prior to your meeting are recommended to become familiar with the system and ask questions.
  3. Parking is limited at the new building. The parking lot directly in front of the building is limited. Overflow parking is available at the old building parking lot.
  4. The security alarm system requires a code to arm and disarm. A code and instructions will be provided at key card pick-up.
  5. Refreshments and catering tables MUST be set up in the foyer, NOT in the conference room. Guests may bring food and drinks into the conference room, but the main food and beverage tables and serving must go in the foyer to minimize spills on the carpeted floor in the room. It is recommended to bring an extension cord(s).
  6. There is no access to a sink (other than in bathrooms) or refrigerator. There is a water bottle filling station near the bathrooms.
    • Plan ahead – consider bringing coolers with ice to keep perishable items cool, gallons of water to fill large coffee urns/percolators, and disposable serving ware that does not require washing.
  7. Beginning August 2025: If catering food other than light refreshments (see policy and provisions attached), renters will be required to hire a full-service caterer and pay a refundable $250 security deposit.
  8. Renters will be responsible for emptying out trash cans and taking the trash with them when full.
  9. Completion of a check-in/check-out checklist. To continue providing a nice public meeting space at no charge, we are asking renters to complete a check-in/check-out checklist to help us keep the room looking new and clean. The checklist is attached for reference, but it will be provided. Renters will be required to drop off a signed, completed checklist with the key card.

To reserve the room, please check room availability and submit an online reservation request if the room is available for the date(s) needed.

For detailed information on using the Aqua Room, please read the policy/provisions document and hold harmless agreement posted below.
