Al Littlefield is retiring as a Skagit PUD commissioner after 36 years. Elected in 1985, Mr. Littlefield was re-elected by his constituents five times during his tenure, signifying their trust and belief in his ability to lead the largest water utility in Skagit County.

Over the years, Mr. Littlefield demonstrated leadership as the PUD experienced significant customer growth, adopted new technology and innovations, and conformed to numerous state and federal water-related policy initiatives. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Littlefield strived to set a good example for staff, make decisions in the best interests of the utility, and address the needs and concerns of his constituents.

On behalf of PUD staff and customers, we thank Mr. Littlefield for his many years of service as the District 1 Commissioner and wish him well in his retirement.
