Public Hearing Set for 2023 Budget

Skagit PUD has completed a preliminary budget of the estimated receipts and expenditures of the district for the year 2023, including all contemplated financial transactions for the ensuing year.

The Commissioners will meet at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 4:30 PM, at which time anyone may be heard for or against the adoption of the whole or any part of said budget.

The Commissioners will hold Special Meetings/Budget Workshops at 4:30 PM on October 18 and November 1, 2022. Adoption of the 2023 Budget is scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting on November 8, 2022.

Members of the public have three options for participating in these meetings:

1. Remote via Zoom: Participants can log-in using the Internet. Log-in details will be published at http://www.skagitpud.org/events.
2. In-person: Participants may attend the meeting in person, but face coverings are required. This option is encouraged for members of the public who do not have access to the Internet. District’s Aqua Room (doors open at 4:15 PM), 1415 Freeway Drive, Mount Vernon, WA.
