PUD Lobby Closes for Health & Safety

Posted Tuesday, March 24, 2020

At Skagit PUD, we are deeply concerned about the impacts to the health and well-being of our employees and customers from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are continuously responding to information from local and national health agencies and taking action to minimize the risk to the PUD and our customers.

OPERATIONAL CHANGES

Effective March 16, Skagit PUD will be implementing operational changes per federal, state and county guidelines to encourage social distancing and to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus that causes the COVID-19 illness. We are utilizing best practices for keeping staff and the public safe, while we continue to provide our essential services.

Be assured that your water is safe. Skagit PUD's water treatment plants are designed to eliminate pathogens including viruses and bacteria.

Customers can still make payments either online, by U.S. mail service, through our drop box located in front of the building, at the drive-up window, or by phone rather than in person in our lobby.

To make payments by phone, please call (360) 424-7104 and follow the voice prompts.

Customers wishing to purchase water services or have engineering questions can coordinate with the customer service representative at the drive through window, or call (360) 848-4469.

The situation is fluid, but our commitment to prioritizing the well-being of our community is not. We will continue to take the necessary actions to prioritize the health of our employees and customers.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this closure causes. Please be safe.
