PUD Seeks Qualified Consultants to Design Data Center Building

Skagit PUD requests Statement of Qualifications from consultants to design a stand-alone, self-contained data center building, including site design, architectural, electrical, and HVAC services.
The new data center building will be located at the Skagit PUD’s Judy Water Treatment Plant. The data center building is envisioned to meet the following criteria:
- Less than 1,000 square feet
- Stand-alone and self-contained
- Contain the data center and a small office space
- Sufficient electrical service
- Appropriate environmental controls
SOQs must clearly demonstrate the ability of the respondent firm(s) in the following Significant Evaluation Factors:
Cover Page and Letter of Interest (maximum 2 pages).
General Information (maximum of 3 pages):
- Overview of Firm (History, Mission, Vision, and Values)
- Proximity to Skagit County
- Project Management Methodology
- Cost Estimating Methodology
Consultant Qualifications (maximum of 5 pages):
- Experience of the firm for the submitted Discipline. Provide a maximum of five example projects within the last 10 years, including Scope, Project Team, Specialty Subcontractors, and Client Contact.
- Qualifications of the staff currently working/assigned to the discipline.
- Excellence in past performance.
SOQs shall be submitted electronically to Catherine Price, contract coordinator, at price@skagitpud.org. One or more consultants will be selected to prepare a proposal to Skagit PUD.
